Livelihood is key for the prosperity of the community. Many places, far from urbanization are still under developed. There are people who know how to shape their business even without much investments. Sangklaburi itself a small town without much developments, but enriched with traditional and cultural things. Wooden things in this city houses, bridge, utensils, carts, temples etc., shows the richness of the wood availability in the region. You can expect some difference in people attitude, race etc., since this city is bordering Thailand and Myanmar.

The above picture shows the entrance of the village. It is amazing there, whereever you go in a Buddhist country, you can find a temple even in small village. Hardly 100 to 200 people lives in this village, still it has all basic ammenities. Temples and houses are built by wood. People depend on forest products for their livelihoods like mushroom, fruits and woods. Primary livelihood income source comes from tourism. Elephant ride and Bamboo rafting are providing good income source for the local people. Also this place is crowded only in weekends and festival holidays. Even childrens are involved in livelihood activities.
